What is Sculptra? Sculptra is a Poly-L-Lactic Acid based biocompatible and biodegradable material that stimulates your body to produce collagen, resulting in a firmer, smoother, more youthful appearing face and body. The collagen produced from these treatments is longer lasting that traditional dermal fillers. What To Expect During Your Appointment At your appointment, your Jenn Ash Aesthetics provider will create a custom treatment plan and suggested treatment series based on your desired face and body goals. The treatment area is then cleaned, local anesthesia is applied, Hyperdilute Radiesse is then administered throughout a series of injections to restore lost volume in the treatment area. Your Post-Care is reviewed and your follow up appointment is made. The average cost is $1700 and the appropriate amount of Sculptra needed depends on your assessment, your goals, and your custom treatment plan. What To Expect After Your Appointment After your treatment, we recommend no strenuous activity for 24 hours. Temporary side effects may include swelling, redness, tenderness, pain at injection site, bruising, nodules or bumps/lumps. A more hydrated and smoother appearance is immediately seen in the face and body after treatment. Final results will be seen in 3 -4 months as collagen begins to grow. Results are optimized with completion of a series of treatment and combining with regular use of medical grade skin care specifically for the face and body. Revision DEJ Face Cream, Nectifirm, and Bodifirm are recommended and available for purchase online or in the spa. The final result from Sculptra treatments will last 2 years. Who is a Good Candidate? If you are 20 years or older and not happy with the sagging of skin, volume loss, and lines and wrinkles of your face and body, you are likely a good candidate. We understand unplanned events can occur resulting in the need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If this happens, please call us 24-hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Cancellations without a 24-hour notice or no call no shows will forfeit your $50 deposit.
