Often, many patients will first benefit from placement of dermal fillers or collagen stimulators like Hyperdilute Radiesse to help support the face and neck tissue prior to PDO thread placement. If you are a PDO thread candidate, a customized Smooth PDO Thread treatment plan will be created targeting precise locations for the PDO threads to give you maximum benefit. The cost of treatment is $600 per area and depends on areas and sessions discussed in your specific treatment plan. During the treatment, your face and/or neck will be cleaned and a local anesthetic placed to the treatment area. The PDO threads are then inserted under the skin and the insertion itself begins the lifting process. The procedure typically takes 20 minutes with a brief recovery period and then you will be able to drive yourself home. What To Expect After Treatment A more firm appearance is felt and will be seen as collagen begins growing by 3 months after treatment.
